Back in the USA

Well, this update is almost a full year late.   On January 6th of 2012  Ed and I left the UK.  We flew to Montgomery, Alabama.  Ed needed to complete a two month long officer training programs called SOS (Squadron Officers School).  When Ed is up for his Majors board he will need to have this training completed, that won't be for a couple more years, but it's good to get it done as soon as possible.  So we spent January and February in Alabama, mostly.  We went to see the the Tuskegee Airmen Museum and Ed went golfing, often.  I spent two weeks of that time in Virginia visiting two of my older brothers and their families (Ed made it out for a weekend).  We also spent a weekend in the Big Easy, New Orleans!
