Ponte Vecchio, the only bridge in Florence to survive the Nazi occupation.  Hitler order the destruction of all bridges in Florence to stop the Allied advance.  The general in charge disobey orders and kept this bridge intact as it was too beautiful and unique to destory.

Our next stop with Dave, Dene, Alicia and Gary was Florence.  We saw the David, but were not allowed to take photos.  Dene, Alicia and I took advantage of our "rest day" to do some shopping!
