Balboa Park and The San Digo Zoo

Ed and I decided to spend a day at the famous San Diego Zoo. On our way over we discovered Balboa Park, which is of course the area of San Digo that the zoo is located in but we didn't know that at the time. After walking around the zoo for most of the day we went and checked out the rest of Balboa park. We quickly realized that we wouldn't be able to see everything in the park even if we had an extra two weeks to do so. This was just a little of what we saw, and what we want to explore further if we ever get another chance to head out to San Diego.

A view of the California tower from the zoo. I didn't know what it was at the time and just thought it looked like something from a Rudyard Kipling book.

A couple of Tigers playing around in the zoo. Tigers are typically solitary animals so they usually don't have them on display together, I don't know what the occasion was that allowed for them both to be out at the same time.
