Alright, the blog site wouldn't let me upload photos for a while so this is really behind, but here goes.
Our first Christmas in the UK was amazing. We went to two Christmas fayres (fairs) one in our "home town" of Bury St Edmunds and one in Hyde Park (it's what all the Celebs do in London-although we didn't see any). Both were incredibly fun and unbelievably cold!

We sampled Chestnut roasted over an open fire, and washed it down with some Mulled Wine.
Went to several (6-7) holiday parties. This is what happens when you and everyone else on base lives thousands of miles from home. We create makeshift families made of people our age and throw parties. This is Ed riding a bucking reindeer at one of the parties.

We went and checked out Harrod's for the first time. This is Ed with their Christmas mascot.
